Alan O'Day (October 3, 1940 – May 17, 2013) was an American singer-songwriter from Hollywood CA, whose best known for writing and singing "Undercover Angel," a number 1 pop hit in 1977 on Warner Brothers Music subsidiary Pacific Records. O'Day also wrote songs for other notable performers, including "Angie Baby" a 1974 number one for Helen Reddy, co-wrote the Righteous Brothers' number 3 hit "Rock And Roll Heaven", & wrote "Easy Evil" for Dusty Springfield.
